My girls have red itchy faces. I treated with poultry dust on the birds and in the coop. I also put DE in their favorite dusting spot in the yard.

I can not see any extoparasites on them. The areas that are itchy is around their eyes and the corners of their beaks. They are not missing feathers anywhere else. They free range in the woods and field. They are all laying normally. Should I just continue to treat with poultry dust? Or should I try an antifungal? We are in Vermont.

They look healthy to me. Generally you need to dust weekly for 3-4 weeks to break the life cycle.

DE is an irritant. So it could be causing problems if they are getting it on their faces.
