Ok, well now that I have them, I'm wondering what to do with them.
They are seven months old, just started to lay, but haven't been with a cock yet. They are really quite hefty birds, so I could just cook them. Or, perhaps borrow a nice roo, Ameraucana perhaps, from a friend (he has a very nice big black one), so I get some nice hatching eggs. They in turn would produce some olive eggers, and maybe even some nice meat birds.
I have a couple of medium sized Cockerels, who are from a very fast maturing breed. Maybe split them up and see which ones turn out better?
Have to say, the lacing on these pullets is gorgeous. Some are a darker, reddish colour, the others are more golden, but all nice, double lacing.

Some, like my formr neighbor, can't even see the difference between their hatchery sourced poultry and poultry that actually fits the standard for the breed.

Steve, didn't you do some Am/Cornish crosses that turned out nice and big, or was it someone else?
