Right! So it can't "average" that temperature if it drops below it but never goes higher! So you have to make it go higher to get the right average. Good luck and keep us posted please!

so do you think 38 is good or turn it up one more to 38.1

How low does it drop before it starts to heat back up? And if you can watch it for a few minutes and see how long it stays low, and how long it stays high. If it goes up to 38 and then starts dropping back down within a few seconds, I say go 38.1

Also another thermometer inside the Bator would be great! Lol

Ok, then I'd say go to 38.1.

And just so you know, I sat with a stop-watch, timing mine up and down and up and down and up and down for a long time one day to figure out what to do. I'm not saying its perfect and I don't mean to sound like I think I'm an expert, but this has to be better! You can get many opinions on this site for almost anything you ask, so you have to do what makes sense to you and what you are comfortable with. I just try to help with what I find that works for me.

Ok so with no water my hydrometer is reading 44 humidity and around 99 to 100.4 temp with my incubator set at 38.2
