red spot on day 22 egg what is it

Not sure how accurate it is its just one of those hydrometer thermometer combo devices. Thanks I have everything I need for chicks I would be very excited for one to hatch.

Got another thermometer like a candy thermometer you stick the end in the air hole and its reading between 99.9 to 100.7

I hope so I'm getting tired of failing I want chicks so bad I was so hopeful with this last time

I know. I'm sorry it didn't work out that time, but this time it will work. You will get it!
The one wandering around in there will show you what to expect too. It's out of frame right now, but its in there

If you want to watch some hatch, this is a webcam of another member here. One just hatched and there are a bunch of pips. Its so cool

and here are again let me butt in ambient temp and humidity will affect your Incubator try to keep a constant temp and humidity around your incubator it will help. this little would be a good place for a fish tank thermometer from Wal-mart cost $3.00 you might be able to use the suction cup to stick it in side. since tropical fish are affected by temp spikes they have to be right you were running at dew point so like WV said dry will be good. the other thing is turning how do you do that it looks like they stand up straight all the time.

Good point about ambient temps around that small of an incubator. Dont want any drafts making it go up and down. Even a big cardboard box would help, if the incubator is sitting in a drafty area. But it still needs ventilation, so dont close it off completely.
