All of my chickens are acting normal, but today when I was collecting eggs I saw some red in a pile of chicken poo. It looked like small hunks of meat about three times the size of a grain of rice.

That means I have worms, right?

Is there something I can get from the tractor store to eliminate this issue?

Also, can I eat the eggs we have collected recently if I suspect a worm overload?

I suspect you saw shed intestinal lining which is normal on occasion, not worms.

That makes me feel better. I have been meaning to worm them and freaked when I saw that.

We also had to cull a roo because it attacked my baby girl. Mean thing.
