Reintroducing my chicken

I have a chicken I've been isolating now for a week. She went to the vet for a blockage and now I've been watching her as she mends. It's been a week, now two of my chickens attacked her, drawing blood off her comb! How do I reintroduce her? She used to be the alpha, now the omega beat her up something good. She still has one more week of isolation due to me wanting to make sure she eats nothing she shouldn't before I decided on her having surgery.

I assume she was isolated out of view of the others? You may need to reintegrate her as you would a new bird - see but not touch. In the future, unless you must have a chicken completely separated from the others, it's best to isolate in view of the others so no need to reintegrate.

Sadly, I do have to keep her indoors for a bit longer. She'll have surgery in a week and is still recovering. She's one of the family, we're trying our best to give her a fighting chance. When I reintroduce her, how long should I keep her in a kennel outside with the others? Thank you for your reply, I'm glad it's not hopeless.
