Actually I did read the post. I read every single word of that post, where you denigrated my degree program and basically stated "well you do it too". The point was that while I may use technology, I don't agree with what is and has happened, and I am working to change it instead of running my yap, trolling people without providing a single workable shred of ANYTHING that could contribute to this conversation in a reasonable manner.

Oh, and I don't need a lecture about the hybrid car batteries. That's why I drive a gas efficient small car and not a hybrid. The U.S. government also encouraged the use of DEET, and we all know how THAT went. They aren't infallible, they aren't always right. Heck, half the time they aren't even on the same planet (or so it seems). But if we don't continue to work on finding viable solutions to our current and future issues, we will be cutting off our noses to spite our faces, and our government ain't half bad.

Edited to add: Oh, and thanks for taking a swipe about my age while you were at it. How old do you think I am, anyway? Just curious.

It is the other half I am concerned about.

You know I have heard these chicken little scenarios all my life and history is full of them and they always seem to work themselves out, some casualties yes but that is life. You are young and malleable and I take that earnestly, don't get mad at me I am only one little polluter.

I was that way in my youth (still am sometimes), you will find later in life some battles are not really worth the fight.

Why do I always find the need to try to reason with the unreasonable?
