Looks like a barbecue fork. What you'd stick a sausage or piece of bread on and hold it in the fire to cook it/toast it. Or maybe a marshmallow? Don't they always toast marshmallows in american movies when they are out camping? (before the psycho pops out of the woods and slaughters everybody :D)

Yeah, we just cut sticks. Those tongs would get too hot.

my first cell phone was a wired bag phone. got it when my son was born, i think, in case i went into labor. His 26th birthday is in 2 weeks! :eek:

We had a guy show up to work one day with one of those. I think at the time a payphone was 10 cents and he said that costs $1 per minute to use.
We all thought he was crazy to pay that and what was the point there were pay phones everywhere.
Guess we weren't visionaries.
