Reminder that coyotes are in urban areas

In alleys, parks, under houses & garages, in abadoned sheds & cars, etc.

You'd be surprised all the places animals can hide. Just think about the resident racoon population! They're out there, we just don't see them.

bush's, under garages, behind dumpsters, in abandened cars,, any place a cat could hide, a coyote can make their den ( well maybe a little bigger then a cat,,hehe

That reminds me - a couple days ago a neighbor down the road from us heard an awful commotion outside. She looked out and there was her Maine Coon Cat, facing off against a coyote standing pretty close to it. The cat made such an ugly scene that the coyote backed off and left!

True story.

just saw one the other night loping around the neighborhood. we have all kinds of stuff. i live in a very metropolitan area that was rural until about 10 years ago. the area has lots of green spaces. and as such harbors deer, cougars, skunks, coons, and possums. its life in the city as far out as i can afford at this point and i enjoy it.
i saw all kinds of wild life when living in seattle. ever seen a coyote on capitol hill? yep, i sure have.

sad isnt it,,, we put food out for them in their homes,,, and they get shot because they eat it.
most pets disappear at night,, maybe they should give the owners a "animal cruelty" charge for not taking care of their pets at night.
