Removing some eggs from incubator to put under hen. Yes or No?

it can be a bit risky for the chicks as quite often the mother will reject them and kill them, but it depends on the hen as she may enjoy it.

Good Luck Woke up this morning to 5 goose eggs piped and 2 baby's tweeting at me from inside, there's nothing like a good hatch. So Cool!!!! you hang in there it will be worth it.

Yaaa! give them some extra time depeding on the temperature of your incubator it can take a few extra days for low temp baby's that may still hatch. I dont know Chickens but the hatch of geese I just had had one day where the top was not completely on the incubator and all 5 hatched 1 day late.

Sadly no, one under the hen had internally pipped but then died. The other 3 never internally pipped- two of those had the air cell the opposite end to normal and one had a side air cell. I'm lucky I got my one baby, but I'm now 1/23 from 3 different hatches form 2 different suppliers of millifleur pekin eggs. Thinking it might be time for a new incubator before I try any more. Anyone got a review of the Janoel 24 or Nurtureright 360?
