Well today was one for the books. Hoshi tried to climb out an open window. My fault for letting him get to the windowsill behind the couch but still. I swear he has zero preservation instinct some times

He is so precious!!! It’s also making me even more excited for Watson to get here did Hoshi grow much? Says my boy hatched in July last year so he’s 9 ish ???? Months so yeah.

He did! He was less than six months old when we got him though so he had quite a ways to go to full size. I think the youtuber leopard gecko might have progress/ growth shots of of some of her leos from baby to adult.

Thanks! I’ll have to check those videos out! I was reading somewhere they stop growing around 12-18 months ish? Idk how accurate that is though. If it’s accurate then Watson’s still got a bit to go. He seems pretty big though in the pics so idk.

I meant to post this earlier but here’s Watson’s setup for now.

The hides were a lot bigger than anticipated so I may need to get some smaller ones but idk. I read that this size was good for adults but he’s still young and I don’t want him scared by too huge a hide. I do want more natural looking ones anyway so idk. Maybe it’s okay???

I did get some better bowls instead of the ugly thin plastic ones I was planning on using.

Does it look okay???

Trouble is none of the stores around here have a great selection and what they do have is a small fortune. And the place I got these from is of course out of the small ones.

Oh well I guess.

I’m so excited but also stressed that I can’t sleep lol I just want him to get here okay
