We are setting up that fishtank for my beardie right now, he will be in the living room not the bedroom. His old tank was in our bedroom. I think he will like it more being out here with everyone.

They had hedgehogs, but they were sleeping. I wasn't super impressed with the store. It was smelly

He already has a massive tank but this is a bowed front tank, it's really nice

I need to clean it because my dad had freshwater fish in it. It's actually my tank that I bought 7 years ago, it's still sold at petsmart.

Huh, interesting. I know here, the pet stores usually try to discourage live feeding now. Even just in the last like 5, 10 years there’s been a big switch. They used to sell tons of feeders and also rats and never have any colored ones, only white/albino with the red eyes, and now most don’t carry rats and a lot of the mice are colorful now and they try to sell them more as pets rather than feeders now.

Yes, I suppose people would feel worse about feeding the mice to their snake if they had pretty colours ha!

That's like hatching meat chicks that are pretty colors not going to stop my family from eating them. It would stop me though

I think with colors it’s easier to tell them apart and get attached as opposed to if they all looked the same haha

I only get attached if I name them. I have a huge reptile tank that will be empty tomorrow. Wonder if I can convince someone I need another pet
