What sites or where does everyone get their reptiles from?

I'm looking into a new addition.

I got my beardie from a local pet shop with a great reputation and knowledgeable staff.

I got my leopard gecko online from the “pet only” section of geckoboa.com Not cheap, but super healthy and well cared for. And the breeder had tons of great advice for this first time gecko owner.

Im thinking about watching Craigslist and seeing if someone puts a beardie up for sale

There are always tons of reptiles and reptile supplies in my Craigslist. Including some supposedly rarer ones.
I'll start looking in January. Wonder if I could find hatching eggs for reptiles.

I did want quail until we started doing meat chickens. Now I don't really see the point of getting them now because we will have meat ducks too since we have a male.

They probably do exist but I think reptiles are harder to hatch than birds aren’t they? But that’d be fun.

And yeah, quail are cool and I still want to try them eventually but they really don’t provide that much meat I don’t think. Seems like a lot of effort to me for so little meat hah

I think chickens and ducks are probably the better option if your family eats a lot of meat, which you say they do, right?

And the eggs are so tiny lol

But they are pretty. :love

I’m considering getting them just to sell eggs because quail are unique and not that common here and I could probably sell them for $5 or $6 a dozen haha chickens maybe $4.

And of course the benefits for allergy sufferers.

Yeah they eat a lot of meat. Usually every night they have meat. The dogs would be eating a lot too since every night they have a cooked meat with their dog food.

Hmm.. yeah... chickens and ducks are probably best then haha

Although the quail could provide a novel protein source to the dogs and you could always feed the dogs the quail. :lau

Then it’s slightly less work too cause you don’t have to take the organs out LOL
