Reptile Photos! **DUW**

I work at a mom n pop pet store and am in charge of the reptiles. I find very good homes for them since I consider them my own pets while at the store - I'm constantly turning down people that I dont think would give the animals good enough homes. If you want, I could talk to my boss and see if I could take her for you and find her a good home.

Well we did go the reptile show on Sunday and didn't do too bad, we got two suriname cobalt dart frog tadpoles with plans to get more. But I was really eying up a couple of boas, one was a pastel and I forget what the other one was. Both were very nice but we just didn't have the money. I really like the red tailed boas and their morphs. I am looking to get either a emerald tree boa or a green tree python to put in the cage I made for my cameleon. So if anyone has had any experience with either of these two, good or bad, let me know.

Humidity and heat are huge with Emeralds, picky eaters with a slow digestion .
Try to mimic their natural environment and you will do fine.

The one thing I know of Emerald Tree Boas is if the humidity and temperature are not spot on they refuse to eat.
Green Tree Pythons I have no clue how they need to be kept but I am sure someone with more experience will show up and give advice.

Update on Rosie the Rosy.
I couldn't go through with separating her from my son. I mean just look at them!
I owe Madison for life for being there for me, and not being upset I couldn't let go of Rosie, and helping set me up with supplies. I had a tank, and expected mom to bring heater & stuff but I guess she had her hands full.

We also have a new trio of satin & merle mice out back to make meals for Rosie. I considered giving her non-hatch chicks, but can't quite get myself to open the eggs yet, and of course if they were stinky I wouldn't do it. It's day 23 and there are 5 eggs left, of 20 that made it to lockdown, of the original 24.

Any body need Madagascar Hissing CockRoaches. They make great cage cleaners for those reptiles. 1 male & 2 females (Adults) for $15 shipped. larger quantities are available. PM me if your interested..

My DS loved this photo! He loves his rosy, but it still hasn't eaten. Ugh! So frustrating. Going to try again today.

Froggie, how long has it been since the rosy has eaten? Just a reminder, make sure temps are adequate in the set up, number one cause why reptiles fast.

Best of luck!

I just looked. It's 78 in the tank right now. According to what I've read this is an adequate temp.
