I didn't like Bush either; but still, no need for the name calling.

Hey!, Bush was a moron too!... and so was..... (insert name here)

...it's why I had to go all the way back to LINCOLN!... and some folks thought he was a moron... there's been a long line of them.

I will refrain from saying who the last non-moron was, but yeah, it's been many, many years.

Results: No matter what, Rick Perry and Mitt Romney are tops, and Ron Paul doesn't exist, even if he wins.

Notice
who is blatantly ommitted from the title, and notice who won the Fox News/Google debate.

But, he's a non-person anyway. Only Rick Perry the Bush rerun and Mitt Romney the liberal count.

Personally, I'm sick of these lies. I'm sick of the media. I'm sick of not being able to trust anyone. I'm sick of essentially being forced to live by "Everyone is a liar until proven honest." Maybe it's time to break out the 870, put on the sunglasses, and go kick butt and chew bubblegum.

(That last sentence is a joke, by the way, just in case some humorless person tries to accuse me of advocating terrorism.

Never know. It's a reference to an old movie.)

My take on it

Perry lost me. The only reason I would vote for him if he wins the nomination would be to oust Obama.....

Romney just appeared to polished and reminds me of every politician ive ever seen.

Cain....love the guy but not sure he has what it takes to actually run the country but would vote for him(and why yes, im a white hick from the hills)

Santorum....like him alot. I think his lack of expierence helps and hurts him. He may move up the ranks as we get closer....if teh media doesnt leave him out in the cold

Newt.....probably the most educated and most knowledgable. I have always liked his mannerisms, but think he wont connect to the X generation and younger voters. He also carries alot of baggage

Paul.....like alot of what he has to say but he is percieved as a bit of a oddball.

I dont care if our president is green and pink, male or female.....I just want someone that does the right thing for all of us. Hope that person makes it to election day.....we need some changes from teh bottom to the top and the only salvation i find in our current state of affairs is the education our citizens are getting throughout it all.

I have not yet seen one (1) headline about RON PAUL in the mainstream other than pushing the notion that RON PAUL doesn't count.
And I can see why. If you listen to just one (1) of his messages, you will know why he is not on TV like the so-called "top tier".
And I laughed my tail feathers off at the way Jon Stewart ripped them a brand new one.

RON PAUL is a dead skunk in the middle of the street on a hot sunny day; you can close your eyes and pretend you don't see it, but everyone knows it's there.

I'm still undecided at this point. There are a couple of them that I really like and a couple that need to bow out gracefully(hear that Bachman and Huntsman).

Out of the first four primaries, (Iowa, NH, SC & Florida) Romney must win two or he is out. He won't win Iowa and he will come in a close second in SC so he has to win Florida. (NH is a given for Romney) Whomever wins the Florida Primary should be the nominee.

Herman Cain was a part of the Federal Reserve, sorry, not going for him because of that. To me, Ron Paul won't leave us defenseless. Not starting wars doesn't mean you are defenseless.

I will agree though with some others - Ron Paul has been taking a lot of lead and the media just doesn't seem to take one bit of notice.

I personally am still on the fence. I need to hear more from some of the candidates that I *think* I like. There were several times when I was saying "well said!" last night but no one concretely won me over. I fully intend to learn as much as I can before making a decision. There's so much left out of mainstream media that I like to know about.

Just wanted to throw this out there too. I know politics can be a touchy subject for these boards. I didn't start it so that it would turn into a, for lack of a better word, heated debate. for me personally, I don have tv or access to the news channels that I like. I enjoy hearing the opinions of others in regards to politicians because there may be things that they've heard/read that I haven't heard about. Thanks everyone for sharing your opinions and keeping it clean!!

Well, Obama ran with no experience, no plan, no grip on reality and in the beginning no chance beating Hillary, so I would say any Republican could win, Obama's worst opponent is himself.
