He is a big boy. And beautiful. All I can say is watch. I don’t think he can injure one if they mate in the pool. Might be a little more awkward on dry ground. Hopefully they’ll settle into a routine and he won’t single out just one female. They’ll let him know if they want his advances .

We are getting a larger pool tomorrow so hopefully that will help. The new female was slightly agreesive towards my females I’m sure it just takes time

Yes of course the newbies are confused and the residents are wondering what the heck. Give them a week. Let them be together when you can be there to watch. And try not to interfere with them learning their place in the flock unless of course someone is getting injured.

Small update the pool came early and everyone is very happy. Especially the drake Murray. I feel like they will adjust thanks so much for the help! The Cayuga (Courtney Love my boyfriend is silky) who is older seems to sit a lot and not keep balance could that be arthritis? The rescue was pretty attentive so i don’t think she has bumble foot, she’s very skiddish so it would be hard to check her feet but I can.Anything I should give to her?

It could be or maybe she just needs some extra vitamins right now. You might want to check her feet, She'll get over it at least that way you can rule out bumble foot. There is some meds you can give a duck but most of them are by vet prescription. Or you could try adding some Nutritional yeast sprinkled over their feed for a week or so and see if that helps. It's packed full of B vitamins which is good for leg/muscle health. 1Tab per cup of feed. Mine really like it I just sprinkle it over top of their feed. They look great I bet the pool was a big hit.

Ill have to look at her feet the last time I picked her up she screeched and she’s a quiet girl. I have nutritional yeast I’ll do that when I am back!
