Rescued abandoned chicken - has white butt, barely eating, watery yellow poo w black pieces

Her feet seem slightly warm to the touch...not cool.

That's a good sign. IMO, I think she needs aggressive, supportive care which means bringing her inside and tubing her, but if they dying process has started there is nothing you can do for her except to make her comfortable.

I agree with you. I'll check around for the supplies tomorrow. It makes me nervous to try this...butt. I'll make sure she is warm and will bring her inside. (Last time I was out in the greenhouse...she was standing again!) Wow...surprising! Thank you complete stranger! for your dedication to these feather friends. It helps so much when you don't feel alone in it...you are very knowledgeable. Once again, thanks for being there and sharing your wisdom. (((Keep smiling :))) Shelly

You know...I've been look at her poo...and the dark green looks like laying mesh food. I just switched from starter (recommended by the store as they were rescues and very thin) to laying mesh...which was donated. I *wonder* if the laying mesh is old...or hard for her to digest? I'll set out some of the starter food tomorrow. Weird. But wondering if this hasn't caused some digestive, mould? issue. Hummm?

I remember putting the mesh out and one of the chickens wasn't that fussy about it. (can't remember if it was her) She'd move it around with her beak. I thought it may have been because the starter is fine and the mesh is larger...so I broke some of the pieces up smaller. They have been transitioning. I put a bit of the starter in with the mesh...but mostly mesh.

Ok...as I get use to feeling this chicken's butt...I think I feel an egg that is just below her vent.
Last night I thought I was feeling a broken one...but not sure. I have her sitting on a warm thing that I put in the microwave...that I have covered with some straw. Will go to town and get more Epsom salts to soak her again...and gloves to check her vent again. What a guessing game and learning curve. Thanks everyone for all your support.

While you're at the store, get some calcium for her... If there is an egg it will help her pass it.
