poooooor little thing! Bless you for taking on the challenge. Now the main thing is since there is obvious injury is to ensure that no staph sets in.
Go to your drugstore or pharmacy and ask for HIBICLENS... this is an excellent disinfectant based on chlorhexidine which is advised for wounds... use that after her foot bath (daily) in epsom salts/ sterile saline (which you can make up yourself by simply boiling 1/4 tsp salt in a quart of water for five minutes). I would be hesitant to use the microfiber cloth as if there is scaley leg mite damage this has oftne resulted in the scales being lifted and the tiny fibers will catch and pull causing pain. Use a paint brush to gently clean the leg (will gently scrub without catching on the scales if you are careful with it). After cleaning gently pat dry with a papertowel and then dip her feet in the hibiclens. Let airdry and then dip in mineral (baby ) oil to suffocate any scaley leg mite.
Here is an article on the ivermectin product you can safely use on her (use the SPOT-ON method where you apply topically on base of neck)-it will also treat most worms.

dhlunicorn, how much epsom salts in the water? I'm the type of idiot who thinks more is better. I'm sure I used too much antibacterial soap last night, then again, I wasn't expecting her to behave like a butter churn.

not more than one tablespoon in a gallon of water (warm)... only the feet... not the body or anything... this is when you want to "scrub" the feet/ "ankles" very gently with that brush (I use a paint brush)... just gently and after a couple minutes rinse off and then pat dry and continue as explained above. Do not overdo the epsom salt and rinse of after.
