I hearya!

I always wanted to wander the Valley of the Kings...but these days (shrug)

Did you get to see King Tutankhamun when he was in the States?

I tried running away from home to see him in 79...but we drove to Philly last summer and I finally got to see his exhibit of goodies...no mummy though...darn.

I'd love to just soak her feet. She has other ideas. We were both completely drenched and exhausted after the first attempt. What can I put around her to hold her wings down that won't hurt her?

btw, I have some co-workers that live in the Netherlands, they send me pictures, it looks beautiful, but they say it is always windy.

I saw all his stuff in the Egyptian Museum, not his mummy though. I understand it's in pretty bad shape. Saw some other mummies though, Seti is actually pretty good looking even after a few thousand years! I used to go to the PA university museum in Philly all the time, then walk down to South street. Some of the people there are scarier than the mummies

Cute burrito! A little undercooked.....

This bird is tiny, I think a sock would do it...

When Rameses was in town they dragged Padihershef out of Harvard...what a beautiful man, even if he's a bit older than me...LOL

I guess they took Tutankhamun's body out of where they left it(!) and he's now in a hermetically sealed case...
Howard Carter did a fine job of making him into a giant jigsaw puzzle..:thun

I still have pics of my trip to post...

Meriruka - Can't wait to see what the little butterchurn looks like! I'm so glad you saved her from a grizzly death. We need more people like you on this planet.

Spotted - you crack me up. Which bird is that wrapped in the sweatshirt? A cutie pie.

Ok, dinner then foot soak number 2. Here's all the stuff I have:
antibacterial soap
epsom salts
saline
campho phenique (sp)
neosporin
mineral oil
zinfandel

She's sneezing a lot and she keeps one foot in the air all the time (she alternates them) and the leg just trembles.
I'm hoping she makes it. Today I took her outside for a bit. She was just lying in the sun, sleeping, looking very content.
