SO, Hope has decided she wants to be with the 'big girls' now!!!! here she is in her comfy pj's tonight!

well, I put her back into her bed for the night. But, i did leave the door between the two halves open. we will see what the morning brings. (I'm going to check on them now, 2 hours after the photos.)

Gosh, she's just precious. And a little spit fire. You can just see it in the pictures. Wanting to hang with her new big girlfriends. LOL. I'm sharing this story with my kids tonight and they are totally intrigued and hurt too that this happened to her. Hope has so many fans already.

Doesn't she look spiffy in her plaid PJs?! i think my pajama pants have the same pattern!

Oh my gosh! She is just adorable in her pj's! LOL I love it ........ How or where did you get those? She is tiny compared to her big sisters. I've already fallen in love with her.

I made the pj's out of a dog coat. I bought a few yards of fabric and have been trying to some up with something that would work. I think I have it finally!

awwww, what a great story!!

My vote is either RIR or production red(although that is not a heritage breed). She looks like our PRs, they are smaller and darker like Hope.

She looks like a sweet girl and Im sure she will bring you many years of happiness!! You are such a sweet person to care for her as you have!!

is PR same as RSL? the other girls (minus the Cochins) are RSL and white rocks. the is smaller than my smallest RSL. I would say 3 - 4 pounds.

I dont know. She is on the petit size side. She has black on part of her wings shaded with the dark chestnut color. I have never had anything like her. I was going to say RIR. but who knows?

How about some pictures of your Buckeye to compare to?

Still following your little Hope. After taking pictures of my Buckeye to send, I realized that my buckeye's don't have a big comb like your little Hope. Glad I saw that before I made a Totally fool of my self! Anyway, keep the updates coming. I love your story.
