I have one Red Star hen, over a year old, which has never figured out where to lay her eggs. She just poops them out any old place, even in manure, or in the grass, somewhere out in the yard. All her other flock mates lay their eggs in the nests, like normal. Is there any way I can correct this freakish happening? I probably miss out on many of her weird places and never even come across her eggs. Actually, I don't even know which hen it is, but that wouldn't be too hard to find out. Thanks for any advice.
