Hi All

I just built an ark and I'm trying to build on some retractable wheels to make it easier to move. Picture:

I tried to use regular construction L-brackets but it's far too heavy and they bend sideways without much movement. Does anyone have a recommendation of what else I might use instead of flimsy L-brackets? The general mechanics of it work, but the sideways strength is lacking.

I was thinking of cutting a large (2x12) piece of wood in a square, lopping off a corner and using it in a rotational fashion (wheel on the opposite corner of the cut one).

More pics for scale:

With a little adaptation, this should work. You tube video says in a few seconds what it would take me a page to describe!

If you make an extension to the end of the tractor this should work I think.

That's actually a really cool solution - and it's possible I can do that without the need to build onto the back at all. I'll have to take a look at it and see what I can come up with.

Thanks Mark!
