I am just the opposite. I use this one for incubating and my Farm Innovators for hatching. I dry incubate, so the humidity doesn't concern me. I don't like the design of the grate. In fact, another member said they had a chick get stuck between the grate and sides and die, so make sure you fill in that gap when using it as a hatcher.
Also, with the heater being on the bottom, how do you keep chick poo and gunk out of it? Even though I use shelf liner, the bottom half of the incubator does get a bit dirty during hatches.
