That's gonna really depend. Do you mean one source from a hatchery or a breeder? 5lbs live weight? A breeder bird, probably. A hatchery bird, I honestly don't know.

If you mean carcass weight, you're dreaming.

I'm also needing to find out the cumulative feed intake per period for the RIR. Would you have any ideas on where to start? Don't really care if it's RIR specifically just need numbers.

In comparison I have the data for the Cornish Cross:

But I would assume they would be eating less than a Cornish Cross.

So maybe a better question would be, how much feed total would a RIR eat in total at 18 weeks? 24lbs around? How much would you say a chick would be eating it's first week?

What about the first week in a newly hatched chicks life. Forgetting breed, would you have a guess on how much they would eat in that first week?
The first week I can't tell you, what I do is buy a bag of starter and feed that until gone. Lots of babies with good appetites can finish off a 50 pound bag, only 15, I get a 25 lb. bag so it doesn't get stale. It will be gone soon! With young chicks, you might have some losses, so it is not easy for people to come up with the numbers you ask for. Most of us are just going to the store when we run out!
