Rhubarb Jam

I don't have a canner yet...can I just use any big pot to water bath? I'll need a rack though..right?

Yeah, you just need a big pot of boiling water and place the jars in there with at least 2" of water over the tops of the jars. Then leave them 1/2 pints in there for 10 minutes and pints for 15 minutes. You can get a canning kit with jar tongs in it for less then $10 and use that to get your jars out, you don't need a rack.

Last year i made freezer jams...but i hate to keep taking up my freezer space..
