Good morning everyone 😊

Wow, just beautiful 😍

Hi, Jeannie :frow yes I do, but I have to get these conferences done and some parents don't answer email or the phone 😩 I do like to take walks out and check on them daily 😁
I know one of the issues the schools suddenly discovered is that not every child has access to a personal computer. Some families still don't have even one. It has meant they've had to revise some of their distance learning ideas.

Yes I toddle out to the pen throughout the day just to chat to the girls. They are very sociable. ;)

Yes, I'm really worried for her. She is shivering in the cold but I've given up chasing her around with a hot water bottle..
She was enjoying the free range scratch I put out for them, especially the sunflower seed, but wasn't interested in mealy worms or salmon, although her sisters polished it off for her.

Edit to add:
Her feathers seem to be coming in quickly. I think she may have a little fluffy coverage in a day or two. :fl
A bit of cooked pork and cracked corn as @Ribh mentions would be a good choice for a few days. What the corn provides is easy burn carbohydrates and that provides calories to help keep her warm.
The pork will provide a complete protein but even more important, it is apparently easier to digest than a complete protein provided by mixed grains.

I'm a bit surprised they didn't know it already - the teachers would have told them. And it would be a quite easy thing to confirm by looking at the data.

One would think so. I think it was more government policy ~ one of those articles I saw but never read properly. I think they were talking about providing computers for those without. Lockdown has meant those used to using a library computer can't access that either.

The unis in Adelaide have kept their libraries open for students who need access. But every second computer is disconnected to ensure social distancing.
