Ribh's D'Coopage

Thank you Lozzy. I'm so glad the days of film are gone as I take heap & heaps of pictures just to get one or 2 really good ones. :D

I love that about digital cameras! And having a decent one one your phone, that’s just all kinds of awesome! :D

Yep! I love the ones my new phone takes. They are awesome.

I think the days of cheap and easy international travel may be over. This may not be a bad thing imo. It's been lovely and quiet here. We are below the flight path for Barcelona and the lack of aircraft noise is very noticeable.

I think people need to adjust their expectations; both seem very unlikely.
It seems from what I read on BYC people are expecting things to return to normal, whatever that subjective judgment entails. I'm not convinced there is any going back and if we avoid a war in all this we've had a result.

Things can't be the same as they were. For one thing every country is now in astronomical amounts of debt. The ecology warriors should be rejoicing, not complaining. We presently have the cleanest air world wide we've had in nearly 2 centuries!

I find it a bit distressing reading the death tally charts. I wonder how many thousands are dying in India and Pakistan. Somehow I can't see the numbers getting reported. The same will apply for Africa.

Yes...& no. As always it's individuals who suffer. More people die from preventable diseases ~especially in the west. We have been here before. That we are so Eurocentric or American centric we forget the rest of the world is to our shame but that's people. We have a very me first mentality.
