Bob, if you can cover your rosemary and thyme over winter, it should come back in spring... Here in TN I don't cover and it comes back every spring.

Thanks! I'm glad it's Friday because I want to clean out the henhouse and Saturday is around the corner. Only one meeting and a bunch of work to catch up on. I hope I can finish the day delighted with my progress on the to do list.

Sounds like a lesson learned the hard way.

Bessie and Charlie completely ate one of my Tree Begonias, the current flock destroyed two succulent plants outside the back door and they are munching their way through the various giant Foxtail Agaves around the back yard.

It seems to have got better here tonight. Humidity and heat has been awful. But this evening after rain it was quite bearable.

How much sunlight does a Rosemary bush need? I think Mrs BY Bob might like to have one of those. Double help if it provides chicken cover.

My rosemary bushes are in a raised bed against an East facing wall. They are doing well and probably get about 6 hours of sun a day in summer

Just don’t put any succulents in there as your girls will completely eat them.

I've given my girls access to aloe vera but they don't seem very interested
