Ribh's D'Coopage

I admire how both you and @MaryJanet are such planners. Exciting to hear about your plans.
They really are. I fly by the seat of my pants a lot but that comes from having to travel at a moments notice a lot of my career. We are being extremely methodical with the wedding courtesy of my daughter.

Here's a reliable weather site for you

This was on our local news station... I’m a little embarrassed to show how we predict the weather here .. I actually considered not posting this.. but what the heck😁

WhoDat, One only needs a fundamental understanding of NOLA. I think it's awesome! I'll never forget my first year in Alex. I was totally convinced I was gonna melt. The second year was even more fun... Hot, humid and 17" of rain in 12 hours. Sue called me at work to tell me the strawberry bed was floating away. Only response I could think of was "close the gate." :gig

I know! When Bob and Ribh were saying 47% was steamy I’m like... that’s our winter humidity! Summer is 95 degrees and 78-80 something percent humidity... you can’t breathe! And I’m the type who sweats like a horse.. so you literally look like a candle melting 🥵
I so wish we had that low of humidity cuz I really don’t mind the heat.. and when the humidity is low it’s really great out! Even when it’s 95!

We get high humidity here but not normally with this kind of heat. Humidity in the eighties is not that uncommon. If we were anothe 100 metres higher up the mountain we would be out of the Holm Oak growth belt and would be more like high desert climate. On the down side, it would be noticeably colder in the winter.

In the three years I lived in LA, I don't recall humidity ever dropping below 50%. When I did a job in the Bahamas, the waitress at the restaurant we frequented nick named me frosty and always brought me a towel & a picture of ice water when we showed up. The maid who cleaned my room brought a parka to wear while cleaning. :gig

She's broody again. I don't think she quite shook off the last bout. She settled herself in the house nest box again. I left a couple of eggs in there through forgetfulness, and she was on them like a rat up a drainpipe. I evicted her to the current favourite dust bath spot. I even managed to make her shake before she came back into the house.
Yes, she is in the nest box again tonight. I've been too busy and it's been too hot to deal with.
I've just finished doing Tribe 2's legs...well four sets anyway. Lots of slippery feet and annoyed hens.
