Ribh's D'Coopage

I missed this earlier - I am so sorry she is feeling unwell - I know how it feels to be worried about your chicken. I hope you figure it out and she gets better. :hugs
Thanks RC. It's one of the hazards of keeping chickens I'm afraid. I try & choose hardy breeds who should live long lives but sometimes the luck of the draw is against you no matter what you do.

Hmmm. I've got one more question and the my meagre knowledge is expended: What are her poops like? Peggy's pancreas is not healthy so her poops tell me how her digestion is going. Lately there's very little undigested food in her poops.
That is very good to hear. I'm glad treatment is working so well for her.

@Ribh your ladies made the facebook page!!!

I was scrolling through Facebook and stopped at this picture and thought to myself 'Oh Campine's! I bet Ribh would like these.' Then I looked a little closer and thought 'those leaves look an awful like Ribh's' then it finally hit me that it was indeed your beautiful girls!!😍
Congratulations! That's very cool!

Just for you Ribh

I've managed to keep this one alive for a couple of years now (touch wood). I must have planted it in the right place.
I'm hoping it will set seed in the rest of the garden.

Oh, and look! Cicada shells! 😁
That old cicada right there in the middle of everything.

I assume this is a flannel flower. They are quite beautiful. What a shame they were lost back in Sydney.

Those are great videos. Thanks for posting. They were both friendlier than Maleficent. She tried to bite my hand off for just petting her.

Mhari swore @ me just before I shot this.
I must say my girls are pretty tolerant of me but I'm running a broody show just now. :idunno

What a good girl!💞 My Salmon Faverolle is still broody, she is very good when I check for any eggs...but, she does talk or maybe grumble at me the whole time!

And paper daisies! 🥰 I've been told flannel flowers are hard to grow. What do you say? Not that I think they'll grow up here. :(
Well, I've grown them before but they only seem to last a couple of years. I think that they tend to act like semi annuals in cultivation. :(

The daisies however are thriving and threatening to take over the whole garden!

There's another cicada shell on the far left. :p

Yep, Flannel flower petals feel soft like ...well...flannel. Hence the name.:love It is the floral emblem of New South Wales.
