Ribh's D'Coopage

Medh is back in with Suyin. Beatha thought about joining them.
The lure of uncontested dinner is a big drawcard.

Good evening folks :frow

@Aussie-Chookmum somehow you got two "end spoiler" nodes rather than the start and end... Replace the squiggly brackets with square [ ] brackets. The word "Test" is the text that appears on the spoiler. Anything between the start and end is contained under the spoiler.

{SPOILER="Test"} put what ever you want to hide here {/SPOILER}

You have paths 😊 we need to unbury ours again 😞

Today I took Rex to the dog groomer. He won an online contest and the prize was a gift card to this groomer. He was in need of a good bath, i even paid extra for them to de-shed him.

To say they did a good job would be an understatement!! He's so shiny, soft, and he smells good. I told Rich that he's going to the groomer from now on. It's quite affordable and they do a much better job than I do.

What a pretty boy 😍 he cleans up nice!!

I'm not sure what I'm looking at ta the base of her feathers in that last picture Ribh, but it makes my fingers twitch to get in there with a comb and brush it out! I expect that would be a bad idea though... :(

Sounds like you are taking good care of her. I hope she continues to improve :hugs
Thanks ACM. :) Doing our best & I'm lucky in that she likes the extra attention & is by nature a fighter.
Yep, she seems to have a lot of dander but she's also missing feathers & growing some back & has managed to inground dirt in some places. She is a strange, strange bird.

My man has put a shelf under the verandah & we now have 2 hives on it. I think there's room for 2 more. The 1st lot of native hedgerowing on the footpath is starting to flower & as our building materials come off the footpath I will plant out what I have hardening off. We've lost a bit but that is par for the course with natives. They don't like being moved around. Will you harvest your hives again this year?
No. Somehow they have survived the hornets. What honey they have they can keep to keep them going through the winter.

Suyin.
She doesn't look too bad just looking.
Her comb's a little shrivelled & pale but her eyes are bright & alert & she's still feisty in herself. Thankfully she is one of my more easily handled girls.

Her poops are gross ~ but better than they were.
And she seems to have a lot of dander.
She seems to be doing better in the small coop though I'm rotating her company around somewhat. Medh had quite a few days with her. She's not really been herself since her visit to the vet but a few days with Suyin & her comb & wattles are looking really good & I think she's back laying. She's also prepared to hustle for her place @ the feeding stations.
It was Beatha last night because she couldn't get a look in @ the food tubs.

Those look like mite/lice eggs on her feather shafts Ribh and I would get a fecal float done. It's hard to tell from the pictures but those white bits in her poop could be worm segments.
Have a look here.
