My grandmother lived in CA and she would get olives and cure her own! She had a big walk in refrigerator and she kept the olives in a 5gal bucket...we used to go in and scoop out a handful, I know, gross, but we were kids, what did we know or more likely care! I could eat all of the olives...lol!Well there will certainly be enough! There are SO MANY baby olives it’s NUTS
I'd be in fear of them choking on it! lolMy chickens would be so happy if we had those. Me, not so much!
I hope you're feeling better!I've been in pain for a week now. I finally went to the doctor and we're waiting on CT scan results to see if it's a kidney stone or a muscle pull in my back.
The animals know I'm in pain. They've decided to make a cuddle puddle with me. ❤

Dixie beat Rex up on the couch. Taz usually doesn't lay with me, so he must sense something. Scooby is happy I'm off work today and he can get extra snuggles.
I love your descriptions...Yesterday was a stinker: hot, humid, muggy.
The girls were confined all day because we were on the mainland.
Last night the wind kicked in. It is 22 degrees & gusting to 30K & my mad lot congregated @ the end of the coop run, beaks up sniffing the salty air, faces pushed in to the wind like so many ship prows ~ only as soon as I appeared they began their *let me out. Let me out* clamour.

The miscreants are @ the end closest to the coop where they can see & hear everybody else & are clearly listing all the sins for which I can be cashiered!

That's good news! Hope it's better soon!Just spoke with the doctor. No kidney stone, just a severely pulled muscle. Rest and steroids and I should feel right as rain in about 2 days.
Thank you everyone for the kind thoughts!
That is seriously cool looking,,,I don't want it at my house, but it's still cool!I've never seen a black one before! The ones we have here are green.
The chickens have been loving it!

Hmmm. Maybe. I suspect they are eyeing up when we will be ready to actually be their dinner. They're worried we may be too sick to feed them.![]()
So lovely and green. Everything is dying back here for winter.
That one seems to be suffering from a mild case of ...death. Did you feed it to the hens?I did it! I recovered my picture of the really big one:
