Out of curiosity, have you ever tried Woolfe before? :gig Her writing style is dense & @ least 2 of us have tried & failed miserably. This way I figure MJ will hold me accountable & I might actually finish one of her books!:lau
The Voyage Out was her first published novel and my plan is to read them all in order so I can observe her development as an innovator. I was keeping it until next Summer but then Ribh and I decided to do TVO together and now we have two more chims joining in!!

Anyway.... I was going to say this novel had way more outside influence, so it's not pure Woolf. From what I've read, she heavily cut her social critique, while continuing to offer her innovative narrative devices.

I'm really looking forward to it!

I think we are 5 altogether now. It sure has grown! 😁

This seems to be Olivia's evening roosting ritual... 🙄
She knows she can't stay but she comes for a cuddle anyway.

I'd heard Belgians were super friendly & great pets but I definitely wasn't expecting this! 😂

I think I'm in way over my head as my education was definitely lacking in this regard, but I'm looking forward to learning from all of you!
