I think maybe the secret is to expect a kind of writing you've never seen before and find ways to love it even though it's strange.

I just finished reading a bit of it & it's definitely different from anything I've read, but I'm eager to read more!I think maybe the secret is to expect a kind of writing you've never seen before and find ways to love it even though it's strange.

I think I'm in way over my head as my education was definitely lacking in this regard, but I'm looking forward to learning from all of you!
Cuteness overload! This seems to be Olivia's evening roosting ritual...View attachment 2529311
She knows she can't stay but she comes for a cuddle anyway.
I'm in the same boat.I think I'm in way over my head as my education was definitely lacking in this regard, but I'm looking forward to learning from all of you!
Oh no! I can’t bear the thought of trouble in paradise. Your lot always seem such fun and project their nuttiness externally, rather than on each other.Today was clean out the coop day ~ partly because it is wet & windy & the used sugar cane mulch goes down in the coop run to soak up the moisture & stop the slushies & the smellies.. I suspect Wrold is going broody on me again. Not sure what Patricia thinks she is doing. Neither girl moved as I waved a rake round wildly right under their noses & tossed in the fresh mulch.
I then redid the fly thingy. I've no idea what's in the concoction but it seems to work pretty well.
Feed tubs down early because I have fed the Littlies in the little coop today. It is too nasty for me to sit out & supervise operations & the Big Girls seem to be having some internal issues @ present. Beatha is on the outer & Morrigu is stirring up trouble for the heck of it. Both Wrold & Alpia seem to be having issues with the Campines that they have always got along brilliantly with until now. It's all been a little unsettled since Lavender died & Soda went broody @ the same time. The lieutenants didn't want to become commanders which left the lower ranks running the ship ~ meaning the mad Campines! I do not want my Campines in charge. They are nut jobs!
Luna gets stressed if she has to lead, Hepzibah goes into denial & Ha'penny is erratic. They are all really good @ helping Soda but Soda is the big calm mamma who keeps things on a steady, even keel. Adding in the Littlies has not helped but they are not the problem. I am not having integration problems.
At present it's evens between BRs & Campines with Luna trying to keep the peace between the waring parties. I don't think she's having much success...

Relax, RC. They're nothing like @BY Bob's mad lot, just a little out of sorts. There is some adjusting in their pecking order & it will settle shortly. Morrigu is the instigator & a lot of it seems to be pure devilment!Oh no! I can’t bear the thought of trouble in paradise. I hope peace returns soon.
Me three. I am over educated in many ways but none relevant for this adventure.I'm in the same boat.![]()
Oh dear. I read the Dubliners and never understood a word!Well my sneak peek suggests Joyce's The Dubliners to me. I really liked that so TVO bodes well.
