Talk about little dinosaurs. I can't wait to see what she looks like all feathered out. I think she is going to be beautiful in a showy kind of way.

Believe it or not, because she still looks pretty ratty, Ceres is doing much better.

While I had her fairly docile & easy to manage I treated her for lice; it seemed like she might be carrying a load as she was the only one susceptible to the cocci. Judging by the dead bodies I found around her roost that was a timely call. Her poops are much better, mostly solid with just a tiny speck of blood. She is not quite herself yet so still inside with me.

Yes! Im really glad I thought to do it. She was so flighty when I did the flock she probably didnt get as much of a dusting as everyone else.

Ok ~ I got the Belgian & the 2 Japs as ordered.
The extras are are GLW Frizzle, & 2 Blue something or other Wyandottes. These are between 4~6 weeks & are in the brooder.
I must be mad.​

I had to pick up food at the feed store today and went to look at the chicks...they were completely sold out...good thing...I might have come home with some!

I have that same weakness!
