Ribh's D'Coopage

It's not crazy. That is way more complex than my shed and I am still building that. It's going to take a week until I'm done and I thought I could do it in a day! That 7x longer. I bet your kitchen doesn't run over estimate by 7x.
Do you need help? Rich and I are kid less this weekend and we can always come down on a weekend.

They will still have the top bar, or at least as high as any of the others.
When we built our coop we made the roosts the same height. It wasn’t intentionally to keep the peace at roosting time, it was just convenient for us at the time, but now I’m glad. Nothing for them to bicker about. Well except The Queen insists that the place on the end next to the wall is hers.
This is The Queen. (She is the sister to Princess Chicken).

Hubby saw the picture of Link that ByBob posted and said
"That's the type of chicken I want!" Basically he wants Red Jungle Fowl.

So, what is Link's breed heritage?
I think hubby will be disappointed that we can't get a hen with this colouring. I wouldn't mind having a hen with this colouring! :love
Oh pretty! Phoenix is a black breasted red and looks similar!❤

I have a wonderful friend in Pennsylvania. He was one of my very, very first friends on BYC ~ even though he didn't believe in on~line friendships @ the time. :lau Even though I live 1/2 a world away, in a different time zone & country & a shared language sometimes gets us into trouble & I purport not to be a people person. :gigI call him Pennsylvania Bob round here because I know a Tennessee Bob as well & the man gets confused. So Pennsylvannia Bob decided to send me a surprise parcel. I think the man was nearly as excited as I was when the box finally arrived. It has been holed up in customs for over a week, anxiously tracked from both sides of the ocean but the postie faithfully delivered it this morning.

There is a wonderful picture of the Greatest Hen Ever as well but I think I was still hanging onto that one!

The box was packed with some really, really special yarn made by a member of Bob's family. Raised the sheep. Sheared them. Made & dyed the yarn. I can't tell you how special I think that is!

And some extra special surprises. Chicken T shirts & a giant chicken bag perfect for holding all that lovely, lovely wool!

And not to forget something just for fun.

Thank you, so, so much. So kind & thoughtful of you. :hugs
May your days be long in the land.
