Marigold is my only female kitty and she's a bit of a diva.

Taz is my main mouser. He keeps the coops and house mouse free.

Taz is a great name! Is it short for something & how did you come by it? Such beautiful cats.

I have to fight hordes of them off with a broom every morning to stop them eating the chicken feed! *



*Kidding, I'm kidding. I only get hordes of cockatoos.

I'm sure all the Aussies got that one right off. We know jolly well emus don't live where you are. Drop bears now....lots of drop bears...

I was thinking the same thing. It looks pretty slim too. I guess it wasn't getting much to eat. I'm glad it has a loving home now.

Wow - I struggle to tell if my chickens are too fat or too thin - I have no idea how I would know if an emu was slim!

I guess we're accustomed to the emus we see in the wild, which are taller and fuller looking.

Of course you don't! You have no basis for comparison. We all look & him & compare him to the ones we've seen running beside the car, or in the paddock or @ the zoo & go, gosh, he's little!
