Ribh's D'Coopage

I'm not sure I could do it. Tight enclosed spaces are difficult for me.
Yep. I get it. When I used to abseil a lot I did a caving abseil. I'm not keen on tight dark spaces but I was doing ok until we were climbing out. The chimney was steep & pretty tight. The girl in front was a larger lady. I had given her my head lamp as she was frightened & I was last out & sitting in the dark when she got stuck. :barnie:thUnfortunately she panicked & it took ages to calm her down & get things moving again. I was nearly a cot case myself by then. :lau

I've not ridden a camel but I've been up in a glider. They shoot the thing straight up, like an arrow, then it simply drops down until it catches the thermals. I'm not good with heights anyway & that just about did for me. :lau
That would be an experience! I’ve also been up in a glider but we were towed up by a plane.

Good evening folks :frow

@Butterscotchbitesfinger remind me what's your horse's name and gender?

Jeannie, I've never had the courage to get into a plane without an engine. I also have never seen any good reason to get out of a perfectly good plane and walk.
My dad’s thoughts on parachuting: “Why would you jump out of a perfectly good aeroplane that’s going to land anyway?!” :lau

Yes, that's the other way to do it. I've said before my dad was a pilot. When he retired he joined a gliding club. All the kids went up @ different times too & the pilots were great. They can all say they've flown a glider. :lau
