Crossing the Road
We received the remnants of Tropical Storm Fred this afternoon. Lots of trees down in my area, I had to detour just to get home. Lots of local flooding from the creeks and run-off. We are all ok.

Came our way this evening - high winds and heavy rain - in theory should be gone by morning. I was out in the Chicken Palace yard as it started up and there were ruffled fluffy butts everywhere. In the end we all gave up and went inside!
Of course it is. Where else would it be.Soooo...this is actually in my friends backyard.
While the sun was shining at your house it was pouring rain at mine. No trees down here just lots and lots of water and lots of lightning.

Don't ask me why they do it 
but this is why there was such a drama when the girls found the little coop closed this morning.

I'm hoping the array of different nests I've placed all over will prevent squabbles if Ivy decides to sit. So far my big plan is a big failure because Jan, Peg and Ivy are all using the one nest and ignoring the other four nests.
