This is Mo standing in front of Freya.
Mo is the most independent of my sisters hens. The only concerning thing about Mo is her tendency to lay oversized eggs. I don't know what if anything can be done about this.

I do hope the orthopaedic surgeon is wrong.

Thanks Shad, he was. I’ve been able to put some weight on it for a few days and am using a walking stick to get around.

I’m even able to go up and down the stairs on my feet instead of on my bottom now!

Shad, as your sister keeps hens in a suburban backyard, I'd love to see her coop. Would that be ok?
