E: The price of mealy worms has gone up again.Edwina was making a long growling noise at breakfast. The other two made their own, different sorts of vocalizations. What do you think they are saying?
I know what the one trying to eat is saying, "if I bang my head one more time on that lid, I'm going back to bed."Edwina was making a long growling noise at breakfast. The other two made their own, different sorts of vocalizations. What do you think they are saying?

Love that last picture. What an expression. Given the frustration you feel about your hens going broody one might think Tsura is looking a bit guilty.
She's not broody but she's become almost as people friendly as Olivia. I have to watch the kiddies as she'll even let them pick her up & cuddle. They know they're not allowed but she's so docile she's pretty irrestible. I will try & get a pic for you tomorrow.I was thinking of Chavi![]()
There's that curved over tail again on Tsura.
Maybe if they sit on the ground she will climb into their laps for cuddles? She's not broody but she's become almost as people friendly as Olivia.
