That's a lovely idea but it will never happen. Both are like a bag of worms so they'd never sit still long enough for a chicken to feel comfortable about getting in their lap. And youngest is a screamer. When she gets excited she has a high pitched squeal. All my animals run from her. And she so wants to love on them!

Sounds like the kid across the street mad about animals, runs straight for them and they flee as fast as their little legs can carry them

So do I. The bantams have been a wonderful addition. They are all chicken & feisty as but friendly & very easy to handle. I even find their eggs a good size for me.
