Is it cross beak (or scissor beak or whatever it's called)?

It looks like her beak may have been trimmed a bit too? Poor girl.

I think it's just been badly butchered rather than proper cross beak. There are four hens I've identified with beak problems. Thankfully none are very serious.

Sorry to go MIA everyone. As I was telling MJ my cat, Marlow, went missing & @ that point I really fell apart with all the other crap going on. My skin is going ballistic & not responding to the meds so the itch is driving me slightly bonkers.

However Marlow is back & well & smoochy as ever ...

And I have taken everyone's advice & applied to UNE to do my Masters online. Waiting on my academic transcript to come through from USQ but I've done all the paperwork. I can't see there being a problem but the praying sort can send up a prayer for success. The rest do what you do.

Masters in what if you don't mind me asking?

Phyllis could be very brave. Or she could be very stupid. But maybe it wasn't a stare-down but the communion of ladies who know that they are the most beautiful of their kind. The rest of us just cannot understand that!

Thank you for the birthday wishes everyone. My DIL2 took me out for a lovely lunch with my youngest GD & the other lot visited later. I had a lovely day ~ apart from the itches!
