There is a hole in my desk where cables would run for an old computer. Éowyn discovered it the other day and we were playing catch the fingers. It was fun until she grabbed my tape and pulled it down on her head.

I would be scared for my fingers!

Oh she practices plenty!
I don't really understand it - initially I was worried she was in pain or unhappy or something, but my honest conclusion, and I have studied her a lot, is that she is just opinionated and wants to express her opinions.
Sometimes she will be out furiously digging stuff up and she will literally run to where I am sitting, jump up on the table and yell in my face and then jump down and run off back to what she was doing before.

That is hysterical. I would love to see that happen.

I have been nursing sick chickens. Oshina is on 2 lots of antibiotics to deal with an abcess & I found a mite infestation as well. The good news is she has begun to enjoy her twice daily massage as I deal with the mites. She's become a very good patient.

Sif is another matter. Her neck has become deformed & doesn't look like it will right itself. I am monitoring her quality of life. She is still moving around the yard on her own in a lopsided manner & so long as she seems to be enjoying her life she has it.

Oh gosh. I'm so sorry.

I know you are doing your best for them. What infection are you fighting off with Oshina?

It's starting to look cold, @BY Bob.

It is snowing 90 miles west of the house today. We are still in the 50s but it is coming.

She is so gentle with those big paws. I have no fear of her at all. She has never once hurt me seriously.

Except that time she tried to climb me and scratched my thigh up bad.
