Ribh's D'Coopage

How many cats do you have?
Technically MY last cat died 27 years ago. There are 3 cats in the house now. DW's is gray - 15 years old, DD1's is the black one (with white not seen in most pictures), 10 years old.

DW's came from the Humane Society maybe 3 years old??, the other 2 were "kitten drop offs".

The one in my avatar was also my wife's, she died 3.5 years ago and was also a Humane Society cat. Presumably 5 when we got her, died at 16. She was the last one we've had that was front declawed.

Ooops. I am a bit late for Caturday.
Heck no you aren't! You clearly made your post on Caturday!!

Both my cats are rescues. I find rescued animals are always so grateful to find a loving home.

My four are all rescues. I had to get an approval letter from the vet to adopt my all black one in October because apparently people adopt black cats at Halloween and torture them.
He is about 10 years old now and spoiled rotten and it still upsets me every October when I think about that.

A fluffy grooming party.
Portia is moulting. Lavender used to do a partial summer moult too. I have a BR doing a partial moult too. Not sure which one yet but someone is dropping feathers all over.

Happy Caturday!

My youngest daughter and her husband have rescued two munchkin cats, a brother and sister, Spooky and Toast. They each have teeth damage from being kept in crates but other than that they are doing well. They are surprisingly friendly and tolerant of strange humans.

Spooky, the male, is on the left. Toast, the female, is on the right.

This is my daughter and Toast waiting at the vet for more work on her teeth.

You can really see Toast's little legs in this photo.

They are rarely apart. Check them out all cuddled up. Spooky is resting his head on Toast.

As many of you know I had a visitor on Friday night. Éowyn was quite taken with her.

She was quite tuckered out afterwards.

Davis has started watching big cats on TV to try and pick up pointers for dealing with Éowyn.

I have started calling Éowyn "Hot Lips" check out those pink lips!
