I'm off to the vet with this little beauty I found flip~flopping round the yard this morning. I think it's an Azure Kingfisher. They are tiny but this one is still just a baby.
Good thing the beak doesn't really hurt.

What did the vet say about your little blue foundling?

I just counted them.... only 9
I obviously need one more to make a nice round number.
Or maybe I should get 3 more for an even dozen?
I think I'm suffering from teapot maths....

I think I might have 9 and I don’t even collect them, so you clearly need at least a dozen!

They'll pass it on to WIRES. While I was there someone else brought in a chick too so the winds are obviously bringing down nests & blowing chicks out.

Yes, they are lovely. I think it was in pretty good condition so it should survive & live to fight another day.

Well, you need them in different sizes depending on how many are having tea. And you need a glass one for viewing a flowering tea ball. And what if you get bored with the pots you have and want an interesting one? And so on and so forth....

Blooming tea ball for those who are interested.
