I'm sorry this is so long but skip right to the end; Sif is walking! Bit wonky but @ least not flip flopping all over the place like a stranded fish.
Did the vet have any ideas on what the diagnosis could be?

Neurological. No suggested remedy apart from euthanasia. I did some research that suggested it could be a vitamin deficiency so have been supplementing. Her neck has straightened out & she is mobile again so I'm thinking that was probably the cause.

Kirby is still very sooky & his appetite is not back to normal yet but well on the mend.

I'm off to the vet with this little beauty I found flip~flopping round the yard this morning. I think it's an Azure Kingfisher. They are tiny but this one is still just a baby.
Good thing the beak doesn't really hurt.

Me too. But then a week or so ago the doc did a blood test and it turns out I have Lyme.
Don’t know if you have that by where you live but I heard it is now everywhere.
I am optimistic that the month of antibiotics will pay off with fewer aches and stiffness.
Is it worth getting checked?
How did you get that?

You must come close to having the right sort of climate for feral chickens(?)

She's obviously feeling very vunerable. It's such a lovely feeling when a sick chicken looks like they might make it.:hugs
