Here is my ginger jar without lid. I had forgotten it was willow pattern. The lid was very plain and flat topped. Definitely not as fancy as yours. Still, I love the blue and white and I love the shape. I used to keep loose tea in it when it had a lid.

That is beautiful, I love to knit and crochet, but my arthritis mean I can't do it as much as I would like. I love the edging.
Stunning, I love blue and white pottery. We have a fair number of bowls and little pieces.
I'm not sure archaeology is meant to result in this but in my reading somewhere I read the Celts thought functional items should be beautiful as well. It is an idea that has stayed with me. Doing a hated chore with beautiful things is so much more rewarding!

Do you still have the lid? There's some good ceramic glues around these days. Or you could use it as a vase. I am hugely partial to willow pattern!
