Ribh's D'Coopage

@Aussie-Chookmum : as promised, my ginger jars. I love everything about these: the colour, the shape, the size...just perfect. They also have a seal on the lid, which I wasn't sure they would have. I am absolutely delighted with them.

Here is my ginger jar without lid. I had forgotten it was willow pattern. The lid was very plain and flat topped. Definitely not as fancy as yours. Still, I love the blue and white and I love the shape. I used to keep loose tea in it when it had a lid.

Thank you. You have all nudged me to go figure out the lid situation. I remember exactly what it was like - plain, flat, and white. Like a small inverted plant pot saucer. Or maybe I just go with a nice cork.
Should be possible to figure something out!

I for one am excited to see your solution.

This one? 31" X 31". I really like this one. It is worked in blue denim & green denim drop stitch & gives a beautiful hazy effect. I am charging AUD $20 for these smaller blankets + postage ~ which may be more than the cost of the blanket, so not worth it. The larger ones are between $25 ~ $30 AUD depending on size. Or do you prefer the stronger blue/green colour?

That is beautiful, I love to knit and crochet, but my arthritis mean I can't do it as much as I would like. I love the edging.

Stunning, I love blue and white pottery. We have a fair number of bowls and little pieces.

Very cool. I'm glad for you. It's nice to find beautiful things at a good price.
I'm not sure archaeology is meant to result in this but in my reading somewhere I read the Celts thought functional items should be beautiful as well. It is an idea that has stayed with me. Doing a hated chore with beautiful things is so much more rewarding! 😁

That is gorgeous! Fancy hiding it away. ;) Do you still have the lid? There's some good ceramic glues around these days. Or you could use it as a vase. I am hugely partial to willow pattern! 😍
