I would love to take more pictures around the property, but someone doesn't want me to go walking around . I've taken pictures of the birds and maybe some sunsets . I'll see if I have anything worthy of sharing .

In my defence, I had the worst day in many years yesterday (and now I'm considering a career change), so I'm excusing myself!

Wow. Really? My excuse is Centrelink. Right hand doesn't know what the left is doing & no~one ever knows anything. Yesterday the whole system collapsed.

My mum 2 hours north, got 300mm overnight ~ which is waaay too much water combined with a king tide. Her boardwalk goes under @ times like this which means all the canal gardens get a does of salt & then things die.

They never do, poor sods. The public service has been eviscerated in recent decades and it's nowhere near as good as it used to be.

Dealing with the Link is always slow and painful and a wonderful opportunity to develop patience and emotional stability! But once they've got all their boxes ticked and double-ticked and signed off, they're no bother.
